Delays in the evacuation of containers - Le Havre, France
Situation update, September 21st, 2022
TDF - Terminal de France, Le Havre.
For several weeks now, we have been facing a very high occupancy of the terminal that occurred longer processing times for the entry or exit of containers.
The occupancy rate of the TDF is still very high. Such landside delays will lead to prolonged transit times. In this context, measures have been announced by GMP (Générale de Manutention Portuaire).
As of September 12, 2022, GMP will deploy for the TDF :
- 20% additional resources on the TDF fleet service
- An additional one-hour work slot at the end of the day, Monday to Thursday
- Opening to the road on Saturdays September 24 and October 1st in the morning
