Update of March 25, 2025
The Fédération Nationale des Ports et Docks C.G.T. (National Federation of Ports and Docks C.G.T.) has filed a strike notice following two meetings (on March 14 and 24, 2025) with the Ministries of Transport and Labour, Matignon (Prime Minister's office), and employers regarding pension reform.
As the parties have not yet reached an agreement, the federation has validated a strike notice including:
- A halt to overtime and exceptional shifts starting April 1, 2025.
- A 72-hour work stoppage on April 2, 3, and 4, including a "Dead Ports" operation on April 2.
- 48-hour work stoppages each subsequent week, with the exact dates to be communicated every Thursday.
The Fédération Nationale des Ports et Docks C.G.T. states that it is open to resuming negotiations if new elements are brought forward by the government.
